We are proud to announce that Tenet Security has been named a finalist in the 2026 Top InfoSec Innovator Awards, hosted by Cyber Defense Magazine, in two categories: AI Security Solution and GenAI Agentic Application Security.
The Top InfoSec Innovator Awards recognize companies solving problems the security industry has not fully caught up to yet. Finalist recognition across two categories tied directly to agentic AI reflects where the industry’s attention is heading: not just how models are secured, but how the agents built on top of them behave once they are given real access to systems and data.
The Runtime Blind Spot
The question security leaders are asking has changed. Not long ago, the conversation was whether to deploy AI agents at all. Today it is how to deploy them securely, and that shift is exactly what these two categories are pointing at. Agents have moved from generating text to taking action: calling tools, touching production data, executing code, making decisions with real consequences. Most of the security stack in place today predates that shift. EDR was built to watch processes on an endpoint. Identity tools were built to define what a user is allowed to do. Guardrails were built to filter what goes into and out of a model. None of them were designed to watch what an agent does once it starts acting on its own.
That is the opening Agentjacking exploits. A prompt injection or a manipulated goal is enough to redirect an agent mid-session, and from that point it keeps doing exactly what it was built to do, just on someone else’s behalf. Nothing about it looks like an attack, and Tenet Threat Labs has watched this exact pattern play out in live production environments, missed entirely by the monitoring already in place.
About Tenet Security
Tenet Security is the Security Platform for the Agentic Layer. Tenet enables CISOs to say yes to AI agents, giving security teams the ability to know what every agent is doing, stop threats before damage is done, and stay ahead of attackers. Taking a preemptive defense approach across the full agentic security lifecycle, Tenet covers discovery and risk mapping, real-time protection of coding agents and customer-facing agents, detection of misbehavior and agent-to-agent attacks, and continuous validation against real-world attack scenarios.
